allogeneic human umbilical cord blood derived CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs). The CD34+ HSPC fraction is selected from cord blood and expanded ex vivo in serum-free growth medium in the presence of UM171 (trans-N¹-[2-benzyl-7-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)-9H-pyrimido[4,5- b]indol-4-yl]cyclohexane-1,4-diamine) dihydrobromide dihydrate and recombinant cytokines such as stem cell factor (SCF), FMS-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L), thrombopoietin (TPO) and interleukin-6 (IL-6).
The expanded fraction predominantly consists of HSPCs (CD34+ CD45RA- cells), with varying levels of dendritic cell progenitors (CD34+ CD86+ cells), mast cell progenitors (Fc epsilon receptor Ia (FCER1A)+ CD117+ cells), and other cell types
