Prop. INN (наименование, предложенное ВОЗ)

Химическое название

allogeneic mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) derived from human embryonic stem cells (hESCs). The hESCs are enzymatically dissociated into small clumps with dispase and cultured to form embryoid bodies (EBs) in media supplemented with serum replacement and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF). The harvested EBs are subsequently differentiated into mesenchymal stromal cells on flasks coated with vitronectin in medium containing serum replacement, bFGF and transforming growth factor beta-3 (TGF-β3) and then further culture-expanded in the same medium. The final cells express CD73, CD90, and CD105 (>95%) and are negative for CD34, CD45, CD11b, CD19 and HLA-DR (<2%). The cells secrete high levels of the immunomodulator indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO-1) after stimulation with inflammatory factors and can differentiate into osteoblasts, adipocytes and chondroblasts under standard in vitro tissue culture-differentiating conditions
